Avon: February 18, 2017 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Walter Sr.; her brothers, Joseph, James and Frank DeBernardo and sister, Nancy Trainor. She is survived by her children, Wally (Sandra), Bob (Joan) and Nancy Ancker; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emily DeBernardo and Anna (Neil) Best; sister-in-law, Barbara DeBernardo; several nieces and nephews, and her McDonalds Gang Friends. Teresa retired from Super Duper in East Avon. She will be remembered for her kindness, love of life and fierce loyalty and love to her family.
Friends may call Wednesday 12 NOON - 3 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where her Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 3 PM. Interment, Avon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joseph Gallipeau Legion Post #294, Avon, American Diabetes Association or the Avon Fire Department, 74 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414.
