Avon: July 6, 2017. She is survived by her children, Pamela McShea (William Putzman) of Scottsville, Polly (Timothy) Stapley of Piffard, Michael B. McShea of OH; sister, Helen (Donald) Clements of Lima; grandchildren, Caitlin, Michael, Peter Stapley; great grandson Tucker Bellina; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Shirley Strasenburgh, Mary Mayoue, and many other dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Willard Brooks; husband Francis “Jim” McShea; sister Jean Beuerlein, brother Willard Brooks.

Arlene was a retired administrator of the Gates Chili Central School District. A special thanks to the caring staff at the Avon Nursing Home.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday 4 – 7 pm at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 350 Genesee Street, Avon. Tuesday at 10:30 AM her Funeral Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 9 Browns Ave. Scottsville. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Avon Nursing Home c/o Memorial Garden.
