Peters, Earl E.
Lima: Died suddenly on August 25, 2017 at age 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia (Butler) Peters of Lima; daughters Elizabeth Adams of Lima, Kristin Gordon of IN; son Michael Peters of Geneseo; brother James (Judy) Peters of Dansville; grandchildren Caron (David) Bulger, Cara (Jared) Penley, Paul, Claire, Noah, Jared (Emma); great granddaughter Ruth; several nieces and nephews.
Earl attended the Door To Hope Church in Hopewell, NY, and worked for the Christian Broadcast Ministries for 25 years until his retirement. Earl was a Army veteran of the Korean War.
Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 2 - 4, 7 – 9pm at the O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima where his Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christian Broadcast Network, Virginia Beach, VA or ELIM Bible Institute.

Life Story for Earl E. Peters
Earl's life spanned 84 years which included entering the Army and serving his Country form 1954 to 1956. He also worked as a life insurance salesman for the Monarch Life Insurance Co. from 1964 to 1976 after which he worked at the christian book store in Hemlock from 1976 to 1981. Earl's career then concluded after working for 25 years for the Christian Broadcasting Ministries in Virginia Beach, VA..
