Avon-Rochester: October 19, 2017 at age 91. She is survived by her daughters, Candice Day and Gaile (Paul) Karteron; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Cottom.

Madeline retired as Vice President of Finance for the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

Monday at 11 AM her Funeral Service will be held at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. Private interment, Avon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 or the United Way of Greater Rochester, 75 College Ave., Rochester, NY14607.
