Edwin L. Rice

AVON - November 27, 2017 at age 95. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Ernestine Rice; daughters, Diane Meyer of FL, Darlene (Kevin) Allen of FL, Kathleen Rice of Gates, Carrie (Tim) Marino of Lima; sons, Edwin “Gary” (Colleen) Rice of Farmington, Eric “Rick” (Sheila) Rice of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; many greatgrandchildren; 2 greatgreat grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Orpha Holfoth, Arliene Whisker. Edwin was a WWII Army Veteran.

Services and Interment were held at the convenience of the family. Private interment, Avon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Avon Rotary-Lions Volunteer Ambulance, 74 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414. Arrangements Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Avon.
