Timothy E. Torrey
Avon-Rochester - Died suddenly on August 14, 2019 at age 55. He is survived by his children, Melaney Ann Torrey of Rochester, Micauly James Torrey of Stafford, VA; mother, Lorraine (Tom) Southern; brother, Donald (Pam) Colerick of Bolivar, NY; sisters, Deb (Charlie) Parent of Geneseo, Shelley (Nelson) Jewell of Livonia, Sherri Buys (John Stein) of Livonia; his companion, Linda Salatino of Rochester with whom he resided. His ex-wife, Haley Torrey of Stafford, VA. Many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Larry Torrey. Tim was a graduate of Avon Central School, Class of 1982 and Ithaca College, Class of 1986. He enjoyed an impressive football career at Ithaca and was inducted into their football Hall-Of-Fame in 2003. Tim was a Director of Sales at Inventhelp and recently opened a Your CBD Store with his daughter and companion in East Rochester. Tim was a fun-loving guy who lived life to the fullest everyday and will be greatly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where his Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2 PM. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Tuberous Sclerosis Association, 801 Roeder Rd. Ste. 750, Silver Springs, MD 20910 or the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
