FOWLERVILLE - September 6, 2019 at age 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jo Anne (Jarvis) Coffey; children, Lesley (Michael) Bouquard, Marcia (Michael) Gavin, William (Amber) Coffey II; sisters, Joanne Whaley, Julia Hayes, Patricia Kelly, Francis Neri; brother, Peter (Lynne) Coffey; grandchildren, Gabrielle Noble and Margret Bouquard, Michaela and Caleb Gavin, Maverick and Avanda Coffey; several nieces and nephews.

Butch was predeceased by his sister, Edith Keatley.

Butch was an Army Veteran stationed in Panama during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime honorary member of the Tri-County Racing Club, Inc. Butch was an original founding member of the club, and dedicated many years to his lifelong passion of micro-sprint racing.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. On Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10 AM his Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment, Leicester Cemetery.
