AVON - November 8, 2019 at age 72. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, John E. Penvose Jr.; daughter, Donna (Daniel) McKeown; brother, Richard (Betty) Taromino; grandchildren, Patrick (Cassandra), Jacob, Luke McKeown; great-granddaughter, Leighton McKeown; god son, Joseph Montesano; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Frances Taromino.
Mamie was retired from the U of R after 25 years. She was a volunteer on the Avon Rotary-Lions Ambulance, and Fresh Air Fund Coordinator. She was fondly known as “Aunt Mamie”.
Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where her Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fresh Air Fund, 633 3rd Avenue, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
