AVON - January 2, 2020 at age 90. She is survived by her daughter, Norene Chesterton; brother Milton (Maryellen) Scott; Grandchildren Lisa Anderson, RJ, Matthew and Michael Chesterton, Scott, Casey Chest. 12 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law Melody Chest.
Doris is predeceased by her son James Chest and brothers: Barry, Darrel Scott.
Doris worked as a chemical dependency counselor for many years at Park Ridge Hospital as well as an AA sponsor in Avon.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 3 – 5 pm at the Stephenson – Dougherty Funeral Home 350 Genesee Street, Avon, where her Memorial Service will be held following calling hours at 5 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unity Chemical Dependency- Rochester Regional Health Foundations 100 Kings Highway South Suite 2300 Rochester, NY 14617.
