FOWLERVILLE - March 21, 2022 Ruth S. (Sager) Harding passed away at age 91.
She was born to Ross and Myrtle (Parmerter) Sager in Castile , NY, as the last of 12 children, on August 4, 1930. Ruth enjoyed her family of siblings and their children, as well as many friends and neighbors. Ruth was a devoted Country Western fan. She enjoyed trips to Branson, MO; Nashville, TN; and many local concerts. She especially loved the music of George Jones and Daniel O’Donnell.
Ruth is predeceased by John Kane (first husband) and second husband, Sylvester ‘Bob’ Harding. In addition to former spouses, Ruth was predeceased by her 10 sisters: Shirley, Pauline, Florence, Zylphia,Charlotte, Daisy, Laura, Marie, Blanche, Marion, and brother William.
Ruth is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Joyce(Olsowsky) Sager. Special recognition and gratitude to friends Lorie Horton, and Shirley Harrington, neighbors Scott and Diane Crickshank, nieces Bev (Dan) Mullen, and Marcia Maines, and nephew Rory Hoskins.
Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Private interment Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Fowlerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Shore Animal League America at 25 Davis Ave., Port Washington, NY...or Animal Shelter of Scoharie Valley in Howe’s Cave, NY...or an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
