AVON - June 30, 2022 at age 95. He is survived by his children, Edward (Laurie) Wolf, Lori (Roger) Wolfanger; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mathias was predeceased by his wife, Maria Wolf; son Helmut Wolf; parents, Martin and Rosina Wolf; 4 brothers.
Mathias was owner and operator of the Old Beam Tavern in Ontario and Compro Tool in Canandaigua. He also worked for Castle Co. for over 30 years. A special thank you to the Avon Police Dept. and the Livingston Co. EMS
for their assistance.
His graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 2:30PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester (Range 4). A Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, 6050 East Avon Lima Road, Avon, NY 14414. A celebration of his life and reception will be held following the service at the Avon Commons 597 Collins Street, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church in his memory.
