Honeoye Falls - September 16, 2022 at age 91. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Donna) Plain; grandchildren, Ryan (Mallory) Plain, Carly (Anthony) Hartwig; great grandchildren, Riley Rose Plain, Emilia Marie Hartwig; sister, Carol (Bill) VanSlyke; brothers, James and William (Dona) Harloff;; several nieces and nephews.
Marian was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. Plain; brother, Robert Harloff; sister Betty Heinrich.
After retiring from the Honeoye Falls-Lima CSD district as a clerical worker, Marian spent her time traveling and ushering for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Rochester Broadway League. She was an avid Yankee fan and cheered for Syracuse basketball. Those who knew Marian will remember her as a consummate baker which naturally aligned with her sweet tooth. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and meeting her great granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Avon Nursing Home for the loving care she received.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Private interment Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 1000 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
