AVON - November 28, 2022 at age 86. He is survived by his children, Patrick (Karen) Herron of Le Roy, Michael (Raeanne) Herron of Gilbert, AZ, Barbara Vadas of Melbourne Beach, FL.; brother Michael (Judy)
of Hernando FL; sister Mary Ann of Lake George, NY; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Bonita (Young) Herron, spouse of 49 years. Peter was
born on April 23, 1936 Rochester, NY the first son of Marion and Edward Herron, Geneseo, NY. He was a longtime resident Livingston County, NY.
He was employed by Rochester Telephone Corp.for 35 years, Craftsman -Technical and a member of the Communications Workers of America. He served 9 years with NY National Guard, SFC and was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Geneseo, NY.
A graveside service will be held in the Spring of
2023 at a time to be announced. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donations to American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman Street Rochester, NY 14620.
